Just minutes away from Parker is the Black Bear Golf Course, a well-kept course with a great staff and has been said to be one of the best courses in the area.
Parker's Chamber of Commerce sponsors many local events including Parker Days Festival and the Parker Christmas Carriage Parade. Downtown, the Parker Station, is a commercial center with offices, shops and restaurants, and is the site of the original train depot. Additionally, Parker is home to the Wildlife Experience, an art and history museum, as well as the Parker Arts, Culture & Events Center, which offers art classes and hosts theatre productions, concerts, and exhibits.
